Title:
Quotes and Nulls with SQL Server
I have formatted text like RTF format (Heiler format) that I want to save in a SQL Server text field. The format of the text contains a number of quotes, double-quotes and nulls that I have to replace before insert and then again replace back when I want to retrieve the information and show in the wordprocessor (Heiler HighEdit Pro). That works fine but when it's a large document the substitution takes to long time. With a recursive substitution I recieve an 'Out of memory' - error.
Is there another way I can save the information without replacing the quotes and nulls so it works faster?
With regards
