>Hi all,

>I've been searching the web this weekend for weblog software. It's my intention to install such software on my server. Currently I have two weblogs, almost equal of content. One is hosted by a weblog provider (like blogspot) and one is hosted by a newspaper. Both weblog systems do have disadvantages and I want to try an open source weblog system on my own server.

We here are all used to it. It is the way threads are commented on the UT. The distinct fact is that comments are made to comments rather than to the main message. Only one of the packages I tested has it: Serenpidity.

The comments can be collapsed, thus keeping it compact. The comment and the list are in separate frames.

I just go finished installing dasBlog, a product of the German company newtelligence. You can download the source code and modify the functionality of the blog for yourself; but you'll have to learn c# to do so.
