As John said you cannot make VFP create or reindex them. A clipper exe should do it. If you're keeping indexes (ntxes) I can mail you an exe which gets dbfname and ntxname and reindexes. Cumbersome to use per ntx I know but the only leftover thing from Clipper for me. Lemme know if you want the exe.
