>>>>OMG, that is soooo true! When we were in Paris, I was totally amazed at the vast number of people walking or bicycling by with the damn iPod ear-buds dangling from their ears!! And not all were young people either. Maybe I haven't done much people watching here lately, or maybe the iPods are more prevalent over there, I dunno ... but it just amazed me.

>>>Even old fogies like me have joined the club. My project to copy all 700-800 CDs onto an iPod is ongoing. That just amazes me that it is possible. When I mentioned this before Terry (mis)calculated how many days it would take to listen to all of them. But that isn't the point. The point is they're all available.

>I don't have the thread handy but you said it would take about 13 days to listen to that many songs. It would take quite a bit longer. According to iTunes there is now 23.3 days of music in my library, and I'm only up to Elvis Presley. There are still several hundred to go counting box sets.

Aye, I was a bit disappointed at how short the time was at the time, and that my est. didn't carry as much weight as I'd hoped. I recall being disappointed at having to divide again by some unit of time. Maybe that was a div too far :-)
