>Even old fogies like me have joined the club. My project to copy all 700-800 CDs onto an iPod is ongoing. That just amazes me that it is possible. When I mentioned this before Terry (mis)calculated how many days it would take to listen to all of them. But that isn't the point. The point is they're all available.
This old fogie has always wanted to be in that club. I can't possibly total all the time that I have wasted, over the decades, listening to stuff that was downright irritating, stupid, annoying and invoking images of a machine gun firing rapidly into the PA system at hand.
I like to chat with people, I'm easy to make contact, as long as they aren't wasting my time trying to sell something. I'm not unsociable - but... if the bus driver is an equal opportunity DJ and plays both kinds of music (country AND western), or my choice is between rap, crap and commercials, I'll just get my sound firewall.
