I've got a simple VFP6 SP5 app with a modal form. It will be used by high school students to key in certain information about themselves.

At the moment there is no provision to prevent the user from hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del, Alt-Tabbing to another app etc. The thinking at this point is not to prevent these events, but if they happen, to play a sound that would alert staff in the same room that a student was "fooling around" or trying something unauthorized.

Does anyone know how a VFP app can reliably play a sound (.WAV would be fine) in the event of such a loss of focus of the app?

I realize that the "proper" way to approach this is probably via Group Policy/Kiosk mode in Windows itself but for various reasons I'd like to avoid that.

UPDATE: if VFP9 would offer more possibilities that is an option.
