It's not just the media giving their bent to things. Basic journalism concepts are totally lost. Any beginning journalism student would tell you about "the 5 w's and the h" (who, what, when, where, why, how) that every story needs. One of the local tv stations here consistently has stories that is missing at least three of those. That is not reporting.
