I remember that Randy Brown and I tried to rebook our flights and were given a choice of 6:30 am on Friday morning or 10:00 am on Friday morning. We took the 10:00 am flight thinking that the airlines might not have everything in place first thing in the morning so we'd have a better chance of the 10:00 am flight leaving. Of course .. we were wrong. The 6:00 am flight left on time and Ricardo said it was only about 1/3 full. Then they closed down the airport again and cancelled the rest of the flights.

We ended up renting a car and driving back to Seattle. It worked out nice because his brother lives in Northern California. We drove to his place and spent the night and then drove the rest of the way to Seattle the next day.
