Well mine's a PT - US so not so good at consumption. Strangely I get much better mileage motorway hammering (at 80 MPH) than urban.

You've gotta be kidding! One of the reasons so many Brits like the US is that you can fill yer boots very cheaply there - eating, elec goods, etc. For example, the price of a CD has remained fairly stable over the years, at about £13.50. I noticed in the US it was c $13.50. Of course it depends on the exchange rate but, at the mo that means half-price over there, to us. It's become a big thing to go Xmas shopping in NYC now, cos evrything's so cheap in comparison (I guess we're just like teh Canucks coming over the Peace Bridge :-) What I can't figure though is how people think they're getting bargains when it cost over £200 for the flight, and then you have to book a hotel, eat out, etc.

I suppose the thing is that cheaper prices to some extent subsidise the poleasant trip and it gets cheaper the more bulk you buy. OTOH you have to get it all past HM customs on return! :-)

What can you buy with a pound? Half a Starbucks coffee I guess, 2/5 of a baguette sandwich, 1/3 pint of lager, a lottery ticket :-)
