How true. There are no mad dog democrats. However, the ultra republican camp does have its voices, some of which are at the threshold of pain, like 140 db! :)

Now to be honest my brother is a republican and the only one in the family. I do have friends who are republicans and we enjoy discussing many topics including politics. I can't see putting anyone down for a viewpoint.

I do not appreciate irrational conversations or dogma from anyone. By no means do I “follow the democratic party line”. Everyone should form an opinion based upon facts and not emotions. Labels disgust me. They are nothing more than creating a way to condemn and dismiss others with whom you do not agree.

In some ways I am liberal and in others I am conservative, whatever that means. I do not know anyone who is so imbalanced that they belong to one camp or another regardless of what they may profess. :)
