As far as I can see ... column.Cells
SP1
(a) shows tooltips (the content of the cell) when the column is not wide enough. The cell does not need the have the focus
(b) when your cell has a tooltiptext of its own (eg set in GotFocus()) and the cell has the focus, it will display.
SP2
(a) applicable in all cases - cell having the focus or not.
(b) not applicable any more
