this one was simple to solve. It had something to do with the "aero" or whatever the new look is in vista. And it only occurred on some workstations. But we are successfully running our app under Vista.

>Forget about the splash screen. I tried running an existing VFP9 app under Vista and SP2 and it's completely unusable. Forms sometimes appear without their titlebar and border, other times the same form works. Drag one form over another and parts of it are left painted on the title bar of the bottom form. Click the red X to close a form and another small gray X appears on top of it that you have to click to actually close the form. Yipes!
