Our app is written in VFP 8. These are the two things that we are doing and have not had any problems since:
Both these options found under the compatibility tab from the properties menu of the app icon
1) Run the program in Win XP SP2 compatibility mode
2) Select "Disable Visual Themes". Without selecting this option we would experience the missing borders/titles from some forms.
>I choose not to be on the bleeding edge. We have people like you for that! <g> And with known VFP/Vista issues, I've been waiting on SP2 before I'd ever let a customer run under Vista (not to mention that it'd be nice to get the Vista SP1 installed, too, though that's still in beta).

>>That may be, but unless you start planning for it now, what will happen when one of your clients buys a new system with Vista on it? You'll be in panic mode trying to resolve the issues. I'd rather know in advance what I need to change to make the app Vista compliant so I'm prepared.
