Interesting thing is that in that link they mention Adolfo Perez Esquivel as a guy who truly deserves it, and I never liked him to much, I even went to a couple of speeches He gave in the University of La Plata and I really disliked him, but I can not say why it was more a gut feeling than an intellectual reason, but I think I felt his discourse was very one-sided and for that reason I always felt his prize was not very deserving <g>.

>>>Since Yassar Arrafat won and also Jimmy Carter won after he rewrote history to suit his purposes, I have lost all interest or admiration for the thing. It certainly is NOT a peace prize.

>>I reached the same conclusion when Kissinger won it.
