thanks for the input. I Googled it and now I remember the big blowup earlier this year when Word got out about the change. Outlook now uses Word to render HTML and not IE. Therefore most of what did work now does not. I looked around quit a bit and there appears to be no way to undo the damage. At least I can tell my customers it was Microsoft's fault and point them to the proper place on the MS web site.
