I am sorry for that, because I truly am interested in your viewpoint. You have a unique perspective that we don't have. Most media reports are slanted in some way so it is indeed difficult to get an accurate picture of an event without reading numerous reports from different worldwide sources (not American) on the same event. I notice it on sites. I often read BBC, English Al Jazeera, and the Spanish sites because English and Spanish are the only languages I can understand well enough in writing to ensure I don't misinterpret what was written. Many of the Spanish language sites from South America are slanted as well. Also, we tend to take the freedom of speech for granted here. I understand Cetin, thank you.

I wanted to add, that I assume it is the same there as it is here in the sense that not all friends, coworkers, neighbors, and relatives share the same political views. Some think differently but don't want to discuss it, others enjoy the discussion. It typically doesn't affect friendships or working relationships at all. A comraderie exists between developers of VFP that I think goes way beyond any political differences and one has nothing to do with the other. There is respect and appreciation for one's knowledge and skills that doesn't change regardless. I know some discussions appear to not demonstrate that here on the UT, but I think overall that is basically true. I may have blinders on, but I believe that. I would like nothing more than to one day meet the developers I have encountered on the UT at a technical conference and give my thanks in person for the great support I have received over the years.

>No it doesn't. To tell it in another way it's written the way its readers would like to hear. It's not a matter of shelling poor dwellings. I don't want to tell more, because I don't want to be banned. Mostly because of software development I have relations with western world that I don't want to lose because of politics. If I were an American it'd be easier to talk about US government. Even w/o a single word they treated me like a potential terrorist at customs just because I was coming from an eastern Islamic country:)

>>Ok if you substitute the term 'terrorist' for 'rebel,' is it accurate then? I am really wondering what in the story is factually incorrect Cetin. CNN often leans to the left and FOX to the right (obvious by the terms they use such as 'rebel' by CNN and 'terrorist' by FOX) so I can understand your problem with the words chosen in the article. However, is the theme of the article accurate? Does it accurately reflect Turkey's position on the situation?
