Anyone care to explain why podheretz's comments are correct?

Perry, I read Norman Podhoretz' article quite a while ago, and have read Commentary mag for years, so I know where he's coming from. The review you posted of his article is about as bad a misrepesentation as possible.

I don't consider Podhoretz a "banana" and certainly don't view him as a whacko. I agree with this points.
