/arge>We have lots of nuclear and chemical weapons. We've used 2 in our history (a few days apart - they probably saved half a million lives by ending the war). We haven't used one in over 50 years. We've eliminated more of our own weapons than exist in the rest of the world (excluding Russia).

So, you claim that US had NEVER used chemical weapons?

>My bottom line is that Iraq did have and did use chemical weapons in combat, and never let the UN know what weapons remained. People who say Iraq had no chemical weapons are wrong.

Reminds me of a bad joke about Argentineans, which have some fame of being arrogant, it goes like this (bad translation):

"German researchers found rests of copper buried 100 meters deep in Berlin; so they claimed that Germans were so advanced that they had telephones way before their time. The Americans then started digging New York and found rests of copper 500 meters deep, then claimed that people in US were so advanced that they had telephones long before Columbus arrived to America. Reading this, the Argentineans started digging in Buenos Aires, and after digging more than 2000 meters deep without finding any trace of copper, they claimed that the prehistoric Argentineans were so advanced that they were using cellphones"
