Wisconsin has beaten good teams in bowls, too. But even as a Big 10 partisan I don't think there is any comparison between the conferences.


>I disagree. The championship game last year was a fluke and a product of tOSU having an extra week or two off. Big Ten teams have historically held their own against SEC teams. In the past 5 years, Iowa has beaten Florida and LSU in bowl games (and got hosed over by the refs in another bowl game with Florida).

The whole Big 10 conference is overrated and the Buckeyes epitomize it. What Florida did to them in the BCS game last year is what any SEC team can do to any Big 10 team any week. The game is just plain faster and more athletic there.
