>>>Good for you for supporting the local team but I hate Ohio State. Really, really hate them. They get top recruits every year and never manage to get the excitement level above 1000 rpm. The whole Big 10 conference is overrated and the Buckeyes epitomize it. What Florida did to them in the BCS game last year is what any SEC team can do to any Big 10 team any week. The game is just plain faster and more athletic there.

>>I would personally rather watch SEC than Big 10 for exactly the reasons you state. 3 yards and a cloud of dust isn't nearly as much fun.

>>I am very disappointed in USC and LSU as they are more my idea of what college ball should be.

>Don't be disappointed in USC and LSU. Even good teams lose a game here and there. LSU is playing in the toughest conference and has about four guys on defense who will go in the first round of the NFL draft.

Yeah, but Kentucky? Stanford?

Just kidding actually, that is what makes it fun.

I see Miami just traded off a WR for a draft pick. I wonder if they are starting to think of tanking it this year, loading up on draft picks and starting from scratch <s>

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
