You have to ask this?! They gassed 5000+ Kurds. US policy is to retain these weapons as defensive only. Have you seen the US military gassing people in this country or others? You want Iraq to continue have such weapons? Granted, I did not support the invasion of Iraq. I think GW Bush is an incompentent idiot. I feel there was ample evidence of the highly questionable nature of much of the Iraq intelligence before the invasion if his administration had been objective and willing to look for it, but they were hawks determined to justify the invasion by any means possible and this will do long-term damage to our standing in the world as well as continue to act as a recruiting poster for terrorists. However, I ask again, you want Iraq and similar countries with similar leaders to have WMD?
