Most of the internal conflicts the U.S. supported in one way or another in South and Central America were unknown to the general public. Many Americans would claim it was an outright lie. There are too many embarrassing situations the U.S. took part in and is responsible for to list them. Just wanted to keep it real.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I must admit that I spent many years in the U.S. Army as an interrogator. I met my ex husband who was a team leader in Special Forces, in Central America while on assignment.

I do not intend to point out the political intentions, idealistic goals, nor to justify or argue any of the actions the U.S. took part in. I just want to point out that much occurred (and occurs now) that most Americans have no knowledge of.
