What I like is something like:

local lcProcess, lcLockUnlock, lcUserID

lcProcess	= iif(vartype(tcProcess) = 'C', tcProcess, {Default value}) && or alltrim(tcProcess) or upper or lower etc
* Same thing with all parameters

* Now, I use just the local variables, not the parameters
