Hey, you won't find me being one of those gung-ho, rah-rah people that defend everything the U.S. does, turning a blind eye to our mistakes and bad decisions or being ignorant of them. The School of the Americas? Yeah, probably a bad thing overall, but I'm no expert on that subject. Training one group to fight another and then having the original group turn on you? We've been there and done that before, but that's an age-old problem in history. The Taliban deserved what they got. Invading Iraq was, however, a stupid move. Yeah, he was a bad guy and the Bush administration likes to paint it in moral responsibility, but then they shirk that responsibility in Darfur and other places. That was just a convenient excuse to use for the Iraq invasion. But I think we should make efforts to keep WMD out of the hands of the crazies. And please note that the U.S. is presently in the middle of destroying tons of chemical weapons at a plant in Alabama.

>Well Russell, I don't want to cause more noise about this, I had seen years ago in my own country how soldiers trained by US Army (they were trained by US in torture also), and with the CIA support kill entire communities, rape women, etc., how many Vietnam men and USA soldiers died in another stupid war promoted by USA, and Korea, and Kosovo, and in all Latin America civil wars. I will not argue about Afghanistan, the terrorists attacks to USA where stupid and they should never occurred too many innocent people died for these crazy talibans, but once again your government has some guilt, they trained these guys when the soviet union invaded Afghanistan, as they gave the support to Sadamm Hussein when he was in war with Iran.

>Just to be clear again, I'm not talking about USA civilians or normal citizens, I have a lot of USA friends. I'm talking about the decisions the government does. You know that with all the money USA is spending in the war, they could feed the entire population of world that is not able to survive?
>
>I just think that USA has no rights to get intrude in other countries, as other countries has no rights to intrude in USA, when has Irak attacked USA? really when? Bush has no moral rights to talk about human rights, at least that is my point of view, I know that I'm not owner of the complete truth, but it's logical for me.

>>You have to ask this?! They gassed 5000+ Kurds. US policy is to retain these weapons as defensive only. Have you seen the US military gassing people in this country or others? You want Iraq to continue have such weapons? Granted, I did not support the invasion of Iraq. I think GW Bush is an incompentent idiot. I feel there was ample evidence of the highly questionable nature of much of the Iraq intelligence before the invasion if his administration had been objective and willing to look for it, but they were hawks determined to justify the invasion by any means possible and this will do long-term damage to our standing in the world as well as continue to act as a recruiting poster for terrorists. However, I ask again, you want Iraq and similar countries with similar leaders to have WMD?
