I'm sure it's not the only serious bug (for me actually a showstoppper), so I've decided to return to SP1. I'm not sure yet what steps this will involve, however.

Also I have decided I'll not gonna send them a bug report now. First they better give proof that they still appreciate the contact with the community, for example by giving regular presence here.

"Knock knock, is anybody there?" Silence.... Why take time to construct a report that is sent to an abandoned office room?!

>Yes, I know. I was just thinking that maybe, just maybe, they might fix these issues in the re-release of SP2. Can't fix it if they don't know about it. I, too, have gotten real frustrated. I can't much blame them - if they keep focusing on VFP, their careers at MS will go nowhere - but it still is frustrating for us. When a product gets part-time attention, it will decrease in quality. And testing has mostly gone over to automated testing, which is helpful, but not a substitute for real testers.

>>Send straight to Milind... I remember the times that the devteam was present HERE frequently, daily or at least weekly, by at least one person. Milind should still be that one, but he is never here anymore. I have tried to find out what the current policy of the devteam in regard to presence on the UT is. No reaction. Constructive frustration is the breeding ground of genius.
If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
