Most sites I've visited can see 3 or 4 other wireless networks, of which 1 or 2 are typically unsecured. If I went door-to-door or wardriving I'd be able to sell network upgrades 24/7/365 ;)

Another PSA: never attach to an unknown, unsecured wireless network. Bad guys have been known to set up "honeypots" and sniff all traffic that passes through them - an easy way to quickly gather a lot of confidential information :/
