I'm a round ball game man myself. Played rugby at school and though I was in the school team (wing prop I think I was)I hated it.

The crowd always look a lot more fun than the football crowd though . All the violence is usually on the pitch.

I hope its a good open game. I have read that the french lost becuase they tried to play like England.

Up to last year I lived in the west country and they take their rugby very seriously there. Bath will be very quiet tomorrow (apart from the tourists)

>>>For me, anytime after Thanksgiving is ok. Earlier than that is ridiculous. I've seen two houses in my neighborhood already with christmas lights on at night!

There was pro-hunt protest before the ban that shooting doesn't ensure a kill and may lead to a fox's dragging itself off to die in agony somewhere. But, of course, they WOULD, wouldn't they.

>>>>>>>>>Amazing, what? I guess they felt letting it die like that was inhuman. Listening to it's screams while watching it being torn apart by dogs, on the other hand, is fine sport participated in by great hunters. Contempt doesn't begin describe how I feel about them.

>>>>>>Don't mess with me, Alan. When I see out-of-season Santas, snowmen, reindeers, false snow, etc. I see 2 kinds of red. I cannot abide Xmas starting in November, never mind October! Next will be the TV supermarket and dept. store ads, with celebs on, cracking on they're enjoying this Xmas, with all the "family" around, sitting down to tuck into their Xmas dinner, when Xmas is still in the future.

I can understand furniture ads with their "Order now and have your new sofa for Xmas" (although WHY someone would want to go to the extra expense of buying furniture at this time of year is beyond me), as there is of necessity a lead time involved. I can also forgive, say, Xmas hamper weekly payment schemes. To SOME extent I can forgive Xmas deccies in shop windows (from mid November). But WHY does a cafe need a life-size Santa figure in Oct!!!!!?
