Quite true. I think for most home users a hacker isn't going to sit outside your house to crack into a teenagers computer to see all their myspace postings - it's when I see a business using wireless that I find it troubling. I saw a Publix grocery store a coupla years ago that acutally had an unprocted wifi network setup - heck if I wanted to I coulda changed all the prices of their merchandise!

>There are sites out there with many tools (as you know). Ultimately everything is crackable. Question is whether its worth it. Plus, is it worth cracking the hard way.

>>Yep - aircrack has been around for a while. Most of the tools I've seen to do this are linux ones - some of the better tools can't be found via google though - or at least I haven't seen a couple of them made public yet.

>>>Just Google WAP Hacking - many links. But it seems you are right Al depending on key length and the WAP type.
