[could someone correct this topic header? It should be Should I "update" to Sp2]

I just wanted to start a thread about this to see what others are doing and their experiences with Sp2

I did as Colin suggested and un installed my complete VFP, reinstalled and then ran the sp2 patch.

To date the following has been reported.

1. The old VFP9 report bug where the toolbar was inoperative, that was fixed in SP1 is now back

2. The help file Index is missing many items like ADDOBJECT, TYPE and many others. There are actually no new items added in help from SP1 (correct me if I am wrong) other than changing sp1 to sp2.

As such, is there any way to get back the SP1 help file that worked?

3. There have been some changes to COM that are undocumented. Previously VFP COM was not passing a NULL DATETIME() properly to .NET. So I had to resort to :
NVL(DATETIMEFIELD,DTOT({})
Of course NULL is now passed correctly, but that breaks my above code fix and broke my web service.

4. There are also issues of Tooltips for headers not displaying.

Are there any more?

There is no indication on the MS site that the current download is a new version other than the name - VFPsp2.exe -> VFP_sp2.exe. Even the version number has not changed. Don't they have version control software at MS? CVS is a free solution.

Anyway I would like to know other's opinion and experiences, what is broken or re-broken, how to slipstream SP1 with the working parts of sp2 etc.

Thanks

Bernard.
