>Actually, the Bábí Faith - as well as the Bahá'í Faith - has its own founder, sacred writings, and laws. Therefore, while we recognize the Qur'án as holy scripture, the Bahá'í Faith is no more a sect of Islam than it is a sect of Christianity - or than Christianity is a sect of Judaism. There may be a common origin, but they are quite different religions in every case.

I agree. I chose my words carefully as not to offend.

Your faith came from Babi.

Babi was Islamic. Transitional, reformed, modernized Islam, but Islam none-the-less.

Your faith is not an Islamic sect, but that's where it came from.

Sabbati Zevi was thought to be the Messiah of Judaism.

But then the ruler of the Ottoman Empire made him convert to Islam.

That made all the Jews drop their Messiah thoughts instantly, and left a bad mark on the Jewish psyche during the time.

But why should Jews be disillusioned their Messiah was a Muslim?

Who knows. People just are.

For the same reason, the prophet of your faith is unlikely to be undeniably regarded are the final unifier.

The Messiah is the Internet.

Is your faith compatible with that revelation?
