The point is, most religions that expect some sort of Messiah, would expect someone (or "something", if you are willing to accept entities such as the Internet) that is "all good, no evil". The Internet is definitely not all good and no evil. It has many good things, but there is also much potential for abuse. It is just one more tool that can be used for good, or for evil.
I understand your point and thank you for brining it to my attention.
The purpose of the Messiah is not to enforce a new revealed orthodoxy of beliefs.
It is to reveal a new path for fulfilling spirituality in a modern world.
