I watched the game. trying to remember the rules from many years ago and explain it to the family.

We all remarked on how there was none of the histrionics associated with football and how there was no intimidation of the referee (again a frequent problem in football).

I would have liked to see more running with the ball, both sides seemed quite bogged down. It was a real game of attrition and as you say played by real "hard" men.

But congratulations South Africa.
