http://www.phpbb.com/That's indeed a very popular one. But it's probably not the best. I had it on my website, as a test only, and it was abused by spamming hackers. There was a moment that a lot of spam appeared to use fake viafox email addresses. When I asked my host provider for advice, he replied that they abused my activated (not even known by the public) PHPBB forum and that it would be best to remove it. This was all half a year ago, so perhaps the current version no longer has the backdoor that these spamming hackers apparently used.
