Hi all,

I've got IRD.DBC which contains a number of .DBFs and views which in turn contain data for a number of different organizations. I now want extract data for each organization into separate sets of data for distribution with my app. Each organization will get a copy of my app and their data files to update.

I've written a program to go into each DBF within the DBC and "copy data for organization = 'abc' into new tables in a new subdirectory" to make sets of tables for each organization. This works fine.

My questions are:

Do I need to include the parent .DBC (which does contain a number of views for my app) with each set of data to go to each org.?

If I do need a .DBC for each org's tables, how do I create a .DBC to correspond with each set of new data? Can I just copy the master .DBC into each new subdirectory for each organization? Do I need to recreate it? What would be the easiest way to do so?

MTIA!!

Mandy
