Did I say so? Read what I said. Maybe I should have added "The ethnic hatred wasn't there in the beginning". Wasn't enough of it to make friends turn on friends and force marriages to split (which actually didn't happen - they couples ran to the more tolerant side).

The people DID NOT WANT TO FIGHT EACH OTHER. Not until they were pushed into it. Then they had to, and when the blood fell, it was all replayed again. I've heard stories of how the push was done, but don't want to spread such ideas anywhere.
