At init i do:
DEACTIVATE MENU _MSYSMENU

then i search for special files in a special language, show them in a grid
if files where found the user can work with these files


1. the users have to leave this form with an "save and exit" button that does a lot of examinations , they are not allowed to use other forms or reports from the main menu while working in this form
2. the user can change the language when working in a form.
when they do this, i change some public variables that holds the menu prompts in a spezial
language.
when the menu is activated at form unload with ACTIVATE MENU _MSYSMENU NOWAIT it shows the
new prompts in the chosen language from the redefined public vars

everything works as expected.

only when there are no files (empty grid) and i want show a messagebox and then close the form automaticly the activate menu command in the unload section seems not to work.

i can't understand why !??
