Now where could Turkey have gotten F-16's?

There are many problems with the news media, such as not telling the truth, not reporting on important events, inconsistency, no follow up, and the list goes on. An example:

1. There are over 175,000 well trained Iraqi (Kurd) troops in Northern Iraq (Kurdistan)
(That is a larger force then we have in the entire country!)

2. Kurdistan has had few terrorist attacks.
(Attributed to a number of things that are positives)

3. There are 65 United States military members in Kurdistan – no more are needed.
(If only that were true of the entire country)

During the last few years I have seen interviews of Iraqis who have moved from all areas of Iraq to Kurdistan. Why? Jobs, and you can raise your family without constant concern for terrorist attacks. Kurdistan has been a stable area since the fall of Saddam Hussein.

The issue with the PKK could well destroy many positive accomplishments in Kurdistan.

The British and Poles are talking about leaving Iraq and in the foreseeable future.
