>I have a fox2.6a windows app running under windows98 and having problems printing at a clients location. This is happening on two printers, one an Epson Stylus color 600 and the other is an HP Deskjet 600c. When the print option is selected we get an immediate "I/O Operation Failure" message. This is happening with the 'Report Form' command in Fox as well as through FoxFire. This same application is running on Windows95 in a number of other locations without any problem. Any suggestions? Help!!!

Yeah, this one's a curse!
If a module, app, exe etc has been developed, compiled etc on a developers D: drive then Fox will try to validate the D: drive on the run-time machine. Sometimes this is a CD ROM and you must have a CD in the drive to prevent the error.
To make it more complicated, some workstations are diskless but Fox combined with O/S still thinks there's an A: drive and at various times "checks" it. Same result I/O failure.
What's worse is that you can't trap this error.
I could also be someting new in Win98 making it worse, because I remember that NT was always worse than Win 95 in this respect.
