As others have said, I wouldn't waste time with certifications anymore. I have some, starting with the first VFP exam (when it was in Beta even). They never amounted to much in the eyes of employers/customers as I could see.

I would learn/keep up with whatever tech you need for your job/marketable skills. In .NET for example this may mean .NET 3.x, VS2008, LINQ, lamba expressions, or maybe AJAX, or WPF or whatever you may need. Maybe other languages (PHP, Java, whatever).
