I think so, because there is no problem in DOS for both HP and Espon printer!
But in Win95, even in excel, I still fail to print top 4 mm margin for custom paper size!

2nd, the custom size cannot print last line and it will swap into another page!
I cannot print 2" x 5" big label which has SIX label in a page!
I waste the first one and the last one jump to another page!
Then, during the custom paper cannot set continous printing in both printers.
I only print 4 success label and waste 2...

Even I have tried external Print Label Software, it need the user to fill in Label content! How can I do it, if user fill in it one by one.
Use typewriter to do is much faster! ~~~>.<~~~

Who I should blame to now?!
i) My boss as using continous label?!
ii) HP and Espon as custom paper setting not allow continous!?
iii) VFP as don't provide enough Label size which Even DbaseIV provide!
iv) Microsoft Window as Win95 setting on print margin has problem even use Excel?
v) Myself as I should not propose to use win95 without full concern label problem?!

>I thought that HP set up an "unprintable" margin all around the page for all of their printers, 1/4" I think. Has this changed? I also thought that the print margin was a printer and/or print driver issue. Are you saying that the O/S is also trying to control the margins?

>>Totally agree, but I suggest to use HP printer to print Label as:

>>>I have a client that has an HP4000, and the problem is definitely the printer driver. HP does have some updated drivers posted at their website, but even those are not solving the problems. I have resorted to trying different drivers. One that seems to work ok is the LaserJetIII. I have seen other HP printer problems in the past and they are almost impossible to get fixed. I will never buy one or recommend one.
>>>Good Luck!

>>>>>Hi, recently one of our development Win95 PCs has stopped producing stable programs (exe). The symptoms are that if a HP Laserjet is set as the default Win95 printer, the printing/previewing via VFP causes a GPF in GDI.EXE which then becomes a GPF in KERNEL32.EXE and the PC hangs. The most curious part of this is that if the default printer is changed to a HP Deskjet or any other printer, the program works fine. We have deleted and re-installed the HP driver from the Windows CD and we have deleted and re-installed VFP - to no avail. If the project is moved and recompiled on any other development Win95 PC, the program produced works fine even with the HP Laserjet as the default printer. The two DLLs on this PC that seem suspicious are: UNIDRV.DLL (4.00.951) and ICONLIB.DLL (4.00.950). They were reported as being newer when the Win95 HP driver was re-installed. We now tried both using the "newer" versions and re-installing the "older" versions with no success. The next step will be
