You seem to be the go to person on ADO/datasets/tableadapters.

Hope you don't mind a basic question.

I have built a dataset and a tableadapter using the wizard. I have data on my form using bindingsource but I need to know how to get to a specific "field" or "column" 's data value within the dataset or tableadapter.

If I need to assign the contents of one of the data elements within the dataset to a variable how do I reference it?

I have parent-child relation where I am using a picklist to navagate through the dataset. The parent data works fine. The child grid is what is driving me nuts. I originally built it in VB and actually had it working so the child grid was updating as the selection in the pick list was changed. I just can't figure out the way to do it in C#.
