The applications install fine on XP and previous operating systems. The installtion is done in Wise 5.1 and a parameter (cDatadir) holding the selected path i.e c:\testing\data are passed back to a Foxpro executable to run the installation routine. I've tested it with wait window messages and in XP cdatadir comes up as c:\testing\data and completes the installation.

But Vista wont recognise the cdatadir and comes up with operator/operand type mismatch error. I am presuming in Vista the cDatadir is set as .F.
