Incredible... the translation of this and other Nash's poems in "Smešna smeša Ogdena Neša" (funny mix of Ogden Nash) by late Dragoslav Andrić (who translated from four languages professionally and would occasionally pick an additional language while waiting at the airport - he said the first four are hard, fifth comes by itself) was an instant cult classic when it appeared in early seventies. The incredible part here is the amount of rewrite Andrić did to bring over the spirit of the verse. The first few, in his translation (translated back by me, so you can see what I mean):
Čak u Tibet živi lama all the way up in Tibet a Lama lives
nema tata, nema mama has no pop, has no mom

Nema žena nema deca has no wife, has no kids
jok mu treba streptomeca.	he no need no streptomice (actually "meca" is a teddy bear)

Nema sapun, nema plakar,	has no soap, has no closet
ne zna najlon, ne zna bakar.	knows no nylon, knows no copper.

...
Taj sebičnjak samo drema	that selfish guy only slumbers
nema pojam, ništa nema. has no idea, has no nothing

Zato, zarez, kažem svim,	therefore, comma, I say to all (should be "svima" but - rhyme)
idem nađem, družim s njim	I go find, friend with him
(should be "da ga nađem da se družim s njim" - "I am going to find him and be friends with him")
IOW, I don't know whether Nash was such a genius as he became famous in Yugoslavia after these translations. At least he inspired Andrić :).

What, me reckless? I'm full of recks!
Balkans, eh? Count them.
