a) Are there any routines to convert the short filenames (such as Foxis~1.doc) to the long file filenames (such as FoxisNOTDying.doc)? The MS KB talked about the dir() command in VB but I saw no mention in VFP.

b) Is there any way of getting long filenames into FPW26a? I seem to just need some replacement for GetFile(). [OK, this part is a FPW26a question].

Any help or direction would be helpful.
