That's the way it currently works with MM .NET 2.4, but we are changing it in MM .NET 2.5 so the designers contain the name.

Microsoft must have set a design-time attribute on the AutoGenerateColumns property that prevented it from being seen in the Property Window--and no, we don't do that with any MM .NET properties--Microsoft doesn't normally either--looks like this was a mistake on their part.
