I did read about in the help when I was looking for a way to change the code page, any advantage to using this prg? cause COPY TO is a simple line to execute and overwrite file

UPDATE: I tried it on a dbf and it made the CP to 0

Yes, and because you knew about if you could suggest else there was no way of knowing that _MemberData and CP are connected :(.
