Some hosting companies offer free templates if you go into the control panel for the site and poke around... Might want to check there. I have several sites hosted and there are several options for commercial sites (storefronts, etc) or just personal stuff.
>Based on a promo from Amazon I signed up today for web site hosting with GoDaddy.com. The price was dirt cheap so I decided what the heck. Now that I have a domain name, a mailbox, and blogging capability, all I have to do is figure out what to do with it. GoDaddy lets me create a web site externally and then upload it to the domain name (the wildly inventive michaelbeane.com). Can anyone recommend a simple, cheap web site creation tool? At first it probably won't be much more than some text and links to email me or go to my blog. Part 2, looking for similar software to set up and update a blog.

>I don't know what I will blog about, if anything. Hopefully something more inspired than "Today for breakfast I had corn flakes, then I gazed at my navel." But it's about time I joined the modern age and at least had the capability of blogging. Be afraid, be very afraid....
