Thanks again for your reply. I understand what you are saying, and I know that I can save the SelStart position. However, when do I save it?
For example, the user starts typing into a new Textbox, thus the SelStart value is continually updated to the current location of the insertion point. The user then uses the mouse and clicks somewhere, say three chars left of the end of the text and then types a new word in. Its at this point that SelStart is reset to zero. Can I do anything with the mouse click?
