We're getting closer and closer to soylent green. When I fist saw that movie I thought it was inconceivable. I was quite young at that time. But as years go by their fabulous "world economy" is beginning to be frightening.

>>AFAIK, Rougemont apple juice still come from Quebec apples. But the apple producers of Quebec are starting facing though competition from China. That's a complete non-sense for me. Why would I want to buy apples from China when I can pick them up directly from Quebec apple trees?
>>
>>I don't know if you have this brand in Toronto, but Oasis has it's plant in Quebec.
>
>Where the plant is doesn't matter. The juice processed at the plant could still come from China.
>
>There's a huge fish processing plant in Lunenburg NS. A reporter asked where all the fishing boats are to supply the fish for the plant. The answer: 'There are none. The fish comes in in frozen blocks at the Halifax docks and is trucked to the plant. The fish all comes from China'.
>
>So don't be too sure that the Oasis plant is processing Quebec apples.

>>
>>>For years I have bought Rougemont apple juice.
>>>I learned that apple juice is one of China's biggest food exports because it is soo cheap compared to other sources.
>>>
>>>So I cannot trust that the apple juice I bought, labelled "Product of Canada", comes from the orchards of Quebec!
>>>
>>>Very dangerous, if you ask me.
