>>I know a person who wants to subscribe, but first wants to try it for a shorter period, let's say a month or 3 months. Currently the only subscription type appears to be 1 year. I remember that there was another type. What is the policy here? What are the possibilities?

>Yes, instead of clicking SUBSCRIBE, that person can click on STORE instead. That will allow him to select a one month subscription.
Perhaps it's better to make clear on that SUBSCRIBE page that someone can also try out a subscription for a month or so. The current page suggests that it's either a one-year subscription or none at all. This 'choice' may let decide some to not subscribe at all.
